Worship leaders
Time a new song to your own rehearsal recording, so the congregation can learn it during the week before you lead it.
Make a worship lyric video in your browser, free to try. Add your team’s recording and the lyrics, tap along to time each line, and export large, high-contrast words that read from the back row and on a phone at home, opened by a title slide with the song credits and your CCLI line. Preview with no sign-up, get your first HD export free with an account, and download with no watermark; nothing is uploaded.
A worship lyric video is a song with its words on screen, timed to the music, made so a congregation can sing. It is not a music video: the words are the point. That means large type, two lines at a time at most, strong contrast and gentle fades, so people sing instead of squinting. Churches play one when the band is away, at youth nights and small groups, in the countdown before a service, and in livestreams, where a viewer at home needs the words as much as anyone in the room.
Make a Worship Lyric VideoMost churches show words with presentation software: ProPresenter, or free options such as FreeShow and OpenLP. Those are built for live music. A volunteer moves to the next slide as the band plays, so the words follow whatever the band does, repeats and all. A church lyric video works the other way. Its timing is fixed inside a finished MP4, so it plays itself: no operator, no missed slide, and the same result in the sanctuary, the youth room and the stream. Use slides when a band leads live. Use a video when you sing to a recording, when nobody is free to run slides, or when a song should look the same everywhere it plays.
Time a Song OnceMade for rooms where people are singing, not watching.
The worship style uses large type, two lines at most on screen, high contrast and soft fades between lines.
Words stay well inside the frame, so an older projector or a cropped stream never cuts off the edges.
Open with the song title, the writers and a free-text line for your copyright notice and CCLI license number.
Tap along once to your team’s recording, and the worship lyric video follows your arrangement, your repeats and your ending.
A 16:9 MP4 that plays in presentation and streaming software, in 1080p or, where your browser supports it, 4K.
No watermark, no account to preview, no upload. Your first HD export is free with an account, and songs written in your church stay private until you choose to share them.
Four steps from a recording and a lyric sheet to a worship lyric video your media team can cue.
Drop the song (MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG) on the tool above and paste the lyrics, one screen line per row. An LRC, SRT or VTT file imports with its timing.
Play the song and tap Space or Enter as each line begins. Backspace undoes a late tap, and 0.75× or 0.5× playback helps with a fast bridge.
Large type, up to two lines, a calm background. Then add a title slide with the song title, the writers and your CCLI line.
Export a 16:9 MP4 and add it to your presentation software as a video, or to your streaming software as a media source.
The details a media team checks before Sunday, built into every worship lyric video you export.
The worship style keeps at most two lines on screen, sets them large and centered, and fades one phrase into the next instead of cutting. Pick a font that reads at a distance and light words on a dark background, or the reverse, and the preview shows what the projector will. Short lines work best: split a long phrase where a singer would breathe.
Preview the StyleOpen each song with a title slide: the song title, the writers, and a free-text line for the copyright notice and your CCLI license number, copied from your own records. Keep the line on the title slide or show it on every slide; EzVisualizer prints it exactly as you type it. It does not look songs up, check licenses or report usage, so keep doing that through your CCLI account.
Add a Title SlideExport 16:9 at 1920×1080, or 4K where your browser can encode it, with the words kept inside projector-safe margins. In the room, play it as a video item in your presentation software; online, add it as a media source in OBS or your streaming tool. A calm background reads best: a solid color, a gradient, a blurred cover, or for youth nights a softly moving style from the audio visualizer, dimmed under the words.
Pick a BackgroundA hymn lyric video can run five verses with a refrain after each. Paste every verse, tap through once, and the timeline keeps them in order. Each export takes up to 20 minutes of audio on a computer, so make one video per song, keep the same style for all of them, and queue the set in your presentation software. For a sermon highlight with a waveform and captions, use the audiogram generator.
Plan a SetAn original demo hymn in the Worship style at 16:9, opened by a title slide with an attribution line.
What you are looking at
The title slide shows the song, the writers and the CCLI line, then two lines at a time fade in where they were tapped, large and centered on a dark background. Every name and number in this demo is made up. Add your own recording to the worship lyric video maker above and the controls work the same way.

Church teams of every size, from a full media booth to one volunteer with a laptop.
Time a new song to your own rehearsal recording, so the congregation can learn it during the week before you lead it.
Cue one church lyric video instead of clicking through forty slides during a song, which frees your hands for cameras and sound.
Give viewers at home the same words as the room, sized to read on a phone screen as well as the projector.
Big words over a moving background for the songs you sing every week. For a fun night, the karaoke maker adds a word highlight and count-in.
No band and no operator: play the praise and worship lyric video from a laptop or a TV and sing along together.
Share an original song with its words on screen, or use the lyric video maker styles for a public release. A choir recording without lyrics goes up through MP3 to MP4.
Licensing, projectors and long services, answered plainly.
In most cases, yes. A CCLI Church Copyright License covers projecting the lyrics of songs in its catalog for congregational singing, and a separate CCLI Streaming License covers the songs in services you stream or post online. Playing a lyric video someone else produced depends on that video’s own license, not on your copyright license. Check what your church holds at ccli.com and report the songs you use. This is general information, not legal advice.
CCLI asks churches to show a copyright notice with each song. It usually lists the song title, the writers, the copyright year and owner, and your CCLI License number. The title slide has a free-text line for that notice, so copy it from SongSelect or your own records. EzVisualizer prints what you type; it does not look songs up, check licenses or report usage for you.
Yes. The export is an ordinary MP4, so add it to OBS or your streaming software as a media source and switch to it during the song. For the songs themselves you need a CCLI Streaming License or the publishers’ direct permission, plus the right to use the recording in the video.
16:9 for both, since that is what projectors and stream layouts use. Keep 1080p unless your screen is 4K. Choose light words on a dark background for a dim room and the reverse for a bright one, and leave the worship style’s margins alone so older projectors do not crop the words.
Slides are moved on by a person in time with a live band, so they suit songs led live. A church lyric video carries its own timing and plays from start to end by itself, so it suits songs sung to a recording, rooms with no operator and livestreams. Many churches use both.
All three can play video files, so add the MP4 as a video or media item in your service plan, next to your slides. Test it on the real screen before Sunday.
Paste every verse, and each refrain wherever it is sung, even when the words repeat, so the screen follows the recording. Tap through once; each repeat gets its own timing. Hymns with long lines read better split in two, at the comma where a singer breathes.
Make one per song instead. Each export takes up to 20 minutes of audio on a computer and 10 on a phone, which fits a long hymn or a medley. Separate videos are easier to reorder when the set changes, and a fix in one song does not mean exporting everything again.
Your own team’s recording is the simplest, since you control it. A licensed backing track or multitrack works too, within its license terms. Recordings saved from a streaming service or a video site are not licensed for this.
No. Paste the lyrics from your licensed source, such as SongSelect or your own song files. EzVisualizer does not search, store or supply lyrics or chords.
Yes. A praise and worship lyric video often repeats a bridge several times; paste each repeat where it is sung and the timing follows your recording. For songs with a strong beat, a softly moving background such as Halo or Orb, dimmed under the words, keeps the room focused on singing.
It is free to try. Every style and background previews free with no account, and your first HD export is free when you sign up. After that, each new song needs a pass from $4.99 or a plan from $7.99 a month (a plan suits a church that adds songs every month), and a paid song re-exports free for 30 days. No download carries a watermark. See pricing.
No. Recordings, lyrics and videos stay in your browser tab and never reach our servers, so songs your church has not released stay private.
