No budget for a shoot? Use it as a lyrics music video generator: post the official version on release day, before any music video exists, and give the single a second upload.
EzVisualizer is a free lyric video maker to try, right in your browser. Paste your lyrics or import an LRC file, tap along to time each line, set the words over a moving background, and export an MP4 for YouTube, TikTok or Reels. Preview with no sign-up, get your first HD export free with an account, download with no watermark, and keep your song on your device.
A lyric video is a song with its words on screen, timed to the vocal line by line or word by word. Labels often post one before the music video is finished, and fans play it to learn the words and sing along. The look runs from plain text over the cover art to kinetic type that pops each word on the beat. Under the look, a lyric video maker does two jobs: it stores when every line starts and ends, and it draws the words over a background at exactly those moments. EzVisualizer does both on one page, so the timing you set is the timing that plays in the export.
Sync My LyricsAny editor can build one: a text box per line, placed by hand. That is where the evening goes, and each of these is solved here:
It is built around the slowest part of the job, the timing, then gives you everything a release needs on top.
Tap Space or Enter as each line starts. A three-minute song takes about three minutes, and slower playback tames fast verses.
Already have timings? Import them, word timings included. When you finish, save the timing as LRC, SRT or VTT for players and other tools.
Classic lines, a karaoke highlight, word pop, typewriter, lower third, poster and a large worship layout, in any of 14 fonts.
Any of 13 visualizer styles dimmed under the words, a blurred copy of your cover, a solid color or a gradient.
One sync fits every frame: YouTube in 1080p or 4K, then Shorts, Reels, TikTok or a square feed post.
A free lyric video creator to try: no sign-up to preview, no watermark on downloads and no upload. Your first HD export is free with an account, and the song and the words stay in your browser tab.
A song file and a lyric sheet are all you need, and every step happens on this page.
Drop an MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG on the tool above, then paste the lyrics with one screen line per row; labels such as [Chorus] are skipped. Have an LRC, SRT or VTT file? Import it and the timing comes along.
Press play and tap Space or Enter as each line begins. Backspace undoes the last tap, and 0.75× or 0.5× playback slows a fast verse down.
Pick a text style and a font, then a background: a dimmed visualizer, your blurred cover, a solid color or a gradient. Choose 16:9, 9:16 or 1:1.
Render on your device in 1080p, or 4K for 16:9 where your browser supports it. Save the timing as LRC, SRT or VTT as well, so the next edit starts where you stopped.
What the job needs beyond a text box: timing tools, type that reads, and a clean render.
Play the song and tap as each line starts; each line ends where the next one begins. Want the words to light up one at a time? Switch to word mode and tap every word instead. Hold the key through the last word to end a line before a pause. Slow playback to 0.75× or 0.5× for fast verses, and press Backspace to take back a late tap. Line mode takes one play-through, so a whole song is timed in minutes, not in an evening.
Start TappingEach line sits as a block on a waveform timeline. Drag a block to move it, drag its edge to change when it ends, and turn on snap to lock starts to the beats of your song. In a hurry? Tap a few anchor lines, then spread evenly gives every line between them a first-pass start in proportion to its length, ready to nudge.
Open the TimelineIf your lyrics are already timed, start from that file. An LRC with word timings (the enhanced format) brings every word in, and SRT or VTT captions bring their lines. When you are done, save the timing as LRC, with or without word times, for music players and distributors, or as SRT or VTT for YouTube captions and editors. To store the words inside the MP3 itself, where many players show them, use the MP3 tag editor.
Import a FileEvery style is a song lyric template you can use as it is or adjust: Classic centered lines, Karaoke with a color that fills each word, Word pop, where words pop in as they are sung, Typewriter, Lower third that keeps the picture clear, Poster in big stacked type, and Worship with large, high-contrast lines for a projector. Change the font, size and color, and these free lyric video templates update in the preview as you go.
Pick a StyleBehind the words goes any of the 13 styles from the audio visualizer, dimmed so the text stays readable: a halo that pulses on the kick, spectrum bars, a spinning vinyl label, particles. Prefer calm? Use a blurred copy of your cover, a solid color or a gradient. With a reactive style it works as a lyric visualizer: the picture follows the music while the words tell the story.
Choose a BackgroundTime the song once, and the same timing fits every frame: 16:9 at 1920×1080 for YouTube, or 3840×2160 with a Release Kit, Creator or Pro where your browser can encode 4K; 9:16 at 1080×1920 for Shorts, Reels and TikTok; 1:1 at 1080×1080 for the feed. The lines reflow to fit each frame, so this is a TikTok lyric video maker and a YouTube one at once. For a short vertical teaser without words, the TikTok visualizer cuts a clip around the hook.
Pick a FrameAn original demo song in the Karaoke style over a dimmed Halo background at 16:9. Beside it is the LRC file the same timing exports.
What you are looking at
Every line starts on the beat where it was tapped, and the color fills the active line as it is sung. The LRC on the right holds the same times, so the video, a music player and your next edit all agree. Paste your own lyrics in the tool above and every control works the same way.

No budget for a shoot? Use it as a lyrics music video generator: post the official version on release day, before any music video exists, and give the single a second upload.
Channels that create lyric videos for every release keep one style and one font, so the catalog reads as a set. For full albums and long mixes, add the YouTube visualizer.
Send a demo with the words on screen, so collaborators read the words while they listen and catch the line that does not scan.
Put a song you have permission to use on the classroom screen for a rehearsal or a language lesson, timed so everyone reads together.
Have an instrumental? The karaoke maker builds a sing-along video with a word highlight, a count-in and the next line shown early.
Make a worship lyric video with large, high-contrast lines for the projector and the livestream, opened by a title slide for the credits.
Straight answers, including what this tool does not do yet.
Add your song to the lyric video maker at the top of this page and paste the lyrics, one screen line per row. Press play and tap Space as each line starts, fix any line on the timeline, pick a text style and a background, then export. The MP4 is built in your browser and saved to your downloads, with no upload. Previewing needs no account; downloading needs one, and your first HD export is free.
YouTube has no editor for this, so make the video first, then upload it. Export a 16:9 MP4 here, in 4K if your browser offers it, open YouTube Studio and click Create, then Upload videos. A title such as “Song Name (Official Lyric Video)” tells viewers what they will get; for Shorts, export 9:16 instead. That is all YouTube needs, as long as the song is yours or licensed.
Some tools use speech recognition to place the words, and AI-created lyric videos can be quick when the vocal is clear. They still mishear lines, trip over harmonies and drift in fast verses, so you end up checking every line anyway. EzVisualizer has no AI for this yet: automatic sync is coming soon. Today you tap along once, which takes about as long as the song, and every line lands where you put it. If you create a lyric video with AI for free elsewhere, check the export for a watermark and the words for errors.
It depends on the song. A clear solo vocal suits any AI lyric video generator, free or paid; dense mixes, heavy effects and fast rap trip most of them up. People who search “lyric video generator AI free” or “free AI lyric video maker” mostly want the same thing: an AI lyric video maker, free and without a watermark, that gets the words right. Until automatic sync lands here, tap sync gets the words right, free in the preview, and you can import the LRC or SRT from any tool you already use. Whichever you call the best free AI lyric video generator, keep the lyric sheet open while you check.
Not automatically, not yet. There is no auto lyric video maker mode here: AI sync is coming soon. The next fastest thing works today. If you have an LRC, SRT or VTT file, import it and the lines land at their times; if not, tap along once. Note that this page makes a new video from a song. To add lyrics to video footage you already shot, use a video editor with a captions track.
It is free to try. Every style and frame previews free with no sign-up: a lyric video maker online, free in any current browser, with nothing to install. Your first HD export is free with an account, so you can make a lyric video free for your first single; after that, each new song needs a pass from $4.99 or a plan from $7.99 a month, and no download carries a watermark. See pricing.
They are when you hold the rights. It uses two works: the song itself, meaning the music and the lyrics, usually controlled by a publisher, and the recording, usually owned by a label. Posting one for a song you do not own needs permission for both, and without it the video can be claimed, muted or taken down. The U.S. Copyright Office explains the basics at copyright.gov. Use your own songs, or songs and recordings you have permission to use. This is general information, not legal advice.
Yes. Import an LRC, including the enhanced kind with word timings, an SRT or a VTT, and the lines arrive already timed. After syncing, save the timing as LRC, LRC with word times, SRT or VTT. LRC suits music players and lyric displays; SRT and VTT suit YouTube captions and video editors. All are plain text, so any text editor opens them.
Seven styles: Classic, Karaoke, Word pop, Typewriter, Lower third, Poster and Worship. Each one is a starting point. Change the font, size and color, keep the same settings for the next single, and every video in a release looks related.
Yes. Open this page in Safari or Chrome, add the song from your files and paste the lyrics; tap the on-screen button in place of the Space bar. Phones take songs up to 10 minutes. For long songs or 4K exports, a laptop is faster.
Yes. Choose 9:16 for a 1080×1920 video and the same timing carries over. Keep lines short so each one fits the narrow frame on one or two rows. Need a clip without lyrics? The TikTok visualizer is set up for 15, 30 and 60 second hooks.
No. You paste the lyrics, from your own lyric sheet or a source you have permission to use. EzVisualizer does not look up, transcribe or store lyrics, which also means the words stay exactly as you wrote them: your spelling, your line breaks, your ad-libs.
Yes, a cover is optional. Without one, use a solid color, a gradient or a visualizer style as the background and let the words carry the video. Want artwork first? Design a square cover in the album cover maker.
Here, the preview is free and your first HD export is free with an account; after that, $4.99 per song with Single HD, or a plan from $7.99 a month. A lyric video company or freelance lyric video services charge per video, and custom animation costs more. That can be worth it for a lead single. For every other track, a tool you run yourself puts the words on screen the same day.
No. The audio, the lyrics and the video are processed in your browser tab and never reach our servers. Close the tab and nothing is left except the files you downloaded.
