Prints and wall art
Use it as a sound wave art generator: export a first-dance song, a baby’s first laugh or a wedding vow as a 3000×1000 PNG or an SVG, then take it to any print shop. We make the file; printing is up to you.
EzVisualizer is a free sound wave generator that works two ways: an animated sound wave video that moves with your audio, or a still image of the whole track’s audio waveform as a PNG, transparent if you like, or a sharp SVG. Drop in any audio file. Images are free with no sign-up; videos preview free, and your first HD video export is free with an account. No watermark, nothing uploaded.
A sound wave is the shape of audio over time: tall where the track is loud, thin where it is quiet. A sound wave generator draws that shape for you, and people want it in two forms. A sound wave video plays the audio while a waveform animation moves in time, usually over cover art, for YouTube, Reels or a podcast clip. A sound wave image is one still picture of the whole recording, a soundwave graph you can print, frame, put on a slide or hand to a tattoo artist. EzVisualizer makes both from the same file in your browser: a sound wave maker for screens and a sound wave image generator for print.
Make a Sound WaveAsk how to get a sound wave image and the usual answer is to open the song in an audio editor and take a screenshot. It works, but it shows:
One online waveform generator for the moving version and the still one, with nothing to install and nothing to upload.
One sound waveform generator for both: the video and the PNG or SVG come from the same song, in the same colors, in one sitting.
Drawn from the decoded samples of your own file, not a stock loop, so every peak is a moment in your track.
A PNG for posts and slides, a transparent one for video editors, an SVG that stays sharp at any print size.
Wave, Line, Spectrum Bars, Mirror Bars, Ridgelines and Oscilloscope, colored from your cover or a color you pick.
Decoding, drawing and encoding all run in your browser tab. Voice notes and unreleased songs never reach a server.
Use the sound wave visualizer free for images: no account and no logo stamped on the wave. Videos preview free, your first HD video export is free with an account, and no export carries a watermark.
The sound wave generator starts the same way for both. You choose between a moving wave and a still one before you export.
Drop an MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG file up to 400 MB on the tool above. For a video, add a cover image too; an image needs only the audio.
Video plays your audio with a waveform animation moving in time. Image draws the waveform of the whole track as one picture.
Six styles for video; Bars, Mirror, Line or Filled for images. Then a frame or a print size, your colors and an optional title.
MP4 for video (WebM if your browser cannot make MP4), PNG or SVG for an image. It saves straight to your device.
What this free audio waveform generator does at each end of the job, from audio waveform animation to a print file. Think of it as a waveform maker for screens and paper.
Line draws the actual audio waveform of each moment, like a scope screen. Wave, Spectrum Bars and Mirror Bars follow 48 frequency bands, so bass and vocals move different parts. Ridgelines stack the last few seconds into a landscape, and Oscilloscope traces the left channel against the right. Pick one as your music waveform visualizer, set the intensity and the sound wave effect does the rest.
Try the StylesSwitch to image and EzVisualizer draws the whole song as one sound waveform: the loud chorus tall, the quiet intro thin. Pick Bars, Mirror, Line or Filled, a solid color or a two-color gradient, and a Detail level from 40 to 400 bars. Save a PNG for screens and posts, or an SVG, a vector file that stays sharp at any size and opens in Illustrator, Figma, Inkscape or Cricut Design Space.
Make a Waveform ImageSet the background to Transparent and the PNG keeps only the waveform, so it sits cleanly over footage in Premiere, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve, on a Keynote slide or on a T-shirt mockup. Choose the wave color first: white and your brand color are the usual picks.
Export a Transparent PNGGenerate waveform images at 1920×1080 for slides and video, 1080×1080 for square posts, 3000×1000 for a wide 3:1 print, or any custom size up to 6000 px a side. Add a title and artist line under the wave; in the SVG it uses the fonts of whichever computer opens it.
Pick a SizeThe video puts the wave over your cover, a blurred copy of it or a plain gradient, with an optional title, artist and logo. Export the full track up to 20 minutes, or a 15, 30 or 60 second clip, at 30 or 60 fps and up to 4K for 16:9 (4K with a Release Kit, Creator or Pro).
Make the VideoThe demo song as a wide print and as a sound wave video frame, both drawn from the same music waveform.
What you are looking at
Top: the whole demo song in the Bars image style, laid out like the 3000×1000 export with a title, on a dark mat so the transparent background reads. Bottom: the Line style at 16:9, rendered live by the engine that powers the tool above. Load the demo song and you can export both.
What each output gives you. Specs checked November 2026.

From a framed first-dance song to a podcast teaser, here is where an audio waveform from this sound wave maker tends to end up.
Use it as a sound wave art generator: export a first-dance song, a baby’s first laugh or a wedding vow as a 3000×1000 PNG or an SVG, then take it to any print shop. We make the file; printing is up to you.
Give your artist the SVG of a voice note or a song: it is the exact shape of the audio. Very fine detail often gets simplified for skin, so talk line weight through before the session.
Post a sound wave video of a new single with the cover in the middle. For a full widescreen upload, the YouTube visualizer starts you in 16:9.
A moving wave turns a talk clip into something people stop for. For show art, an episode title and captions, use the audiogram generator.
A visualization of sound waves makes pitch and volume visible: Line shows the wave itself, Bars its frequencies. With two recordings’ sound waves visualized side by side, a class sees why a flute and a drum differ. Visualizing sound waves (visualising sound waves, in British spelling) in more depth? Open the waveform analyzer.
Drop a transparent PNG over footage, or render a waveform animation as MP4 and layer it in your editor. Need it vertical? The TikTok visualizer opens in 9:16.
Images, videos, prints, spellings and the odd tattoo question.
Drop the audio file on the tool at the top of this page, choose Image, pick a style (Bars, Mirror, Line or Filled), a size and a color, then export a PNG or an SVG. EzVisualizer reads the whole recording and draws its waveform at the size you chose, so there is no screenshot, cropping or upscaling involved.
Images are: every PNG and SVG style of this audio waveform visualizer, free, with no watermark and no account. If you were looking for an audio waveform generator free of catches, image mode has no credits or export caps. Videos are free to try: preview with no sign-up, and your first HD video export is free with an account. After that, each new song needs a pass from $4.99 or a plan from $7.99 a month, with no watermark. See pricing.
Yes. In image mode, set the background to Transparent before you export and the PNG holds only the wave. Pick a light color for dark videos and a dark one for print, since the PNG keeps exactly the color you chose. The SVG has no background at all.
You can make the design file here: export the SVG of a voice message or a song and send it to your tattoo artist. It is the true shape of the audio. Whether it works on skin at a given size is the artist’s call; many thicken the line or simplify the busiest peaks.
Export a 3000×1000 PNG for a wide print, or an SVG if the shop accepts vector files, which avoids any blur at large sizes. EzVisualizer is a sound wave picture generator only: it makes the file, and you choose the printer, the paper and the frame.
None. Sound wave is the usual spelling and soundwave is common online, so a soundwave maker, soundwave creator or soundwave visualizer is this same free soundwave generator, as is a sound wave creator, an audio wave generator or an audio wave visualizer. Create a soundwave animation for video or a still for print: the soundwave image generator and soundwave art generator are just the image mode, and the soundwave generator, free for images and free to try for video, adds no watermark.
Add the audio and the cover, keep Video selected and pick a style. The audio waveform video plays your track with the wave moving over the cover, a blurred copy of it or a gradient. Add a title and logo if you want them, choose a frame and export the MP4.
It is your song. A digital sound wave is a long list of sample values, and EzVisualizer reads them from your file: the image draws their loudness across the whole track, and the video follows them frame by frame. Two different songs never give the same picture.
An audio waveform shows loudness over time; a spectrum shows how much bass, mids and treble there is at one moment. A waveform audio visualizer style such as Line or Oscilloscope shows the first; Spectrum Bars and Wave show the second. Both count as sound wave visualization. For detailed audio waveform visualization of one file, the waveform analyzer lets you zoom in.
No. It does not generate sound waves you can hear; it draws the ones already in your audio. To hear a test tone, use a tone or frequency generator. To see your own audio as visual sound waves, this visual sound wave generator is the right place.
MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, FLAC and OGG, or anything else your browser can decode, up to 400 MB. WAV, short for Waveform Audio File Format, works as well as MP3. For the video, add a JPG, PNG or WebP cover.
A video can run up to 20 minutes on a laptop or desktop and 10 on a phone, or you can export a 15, 30 or 60 second clip. An image always shows the whole track, from the first second to the last.
An online sound wave generator and free waveform visualizer: a web page that runs in Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox on Windows, macOS, Linux or a phone. There is nothing to install, and the only download is the file you make.
Yes. By default the colors come from your cover; pick any accent color instead, and choose a blurred cover, gradient or solid background for video. Images take a wave color or a two-color gradient on a dark, light or transparent background. For a full music video look, open the full audio visualizer with all 13 styles.
