Podcasters
Cut three podcast audiogram posts from each episode: a square one for the feed, a vertical one for Reels and Shorts, a wide one for YouTube.
EzVisualizer is a free audiogram generator to try. It turns a podcast moment into a video people can follow with the sound off: your show art, the episode title, a waveform that moves with the voice and, when you bring an SRT or VTT file, captions burned in. Square, vertical or wide, with no watermark and nothing uploaded. Preview with no sign-up; your first HD export is free with an account.
An audiogram is a short video made from audio: a still image, usually the show art, with a waveform that moves with the voice, the episode title and often captions. Podcasts use them because social feeds play video, not audio, and many people scroll with the sound off, so a moving wave and readable words are what make them stop. A podcast audiogram usually runs 30 to 60 seconds, cut from the best moment of an episode, and points to the full show. An audiogram generator builds that video from your audio file, so you never open a video editor. Not to be confused with the hearing-test chart of the same name: this page is about the podcast kind.
Make a Podcast AudiogramFree plans are usually built to get you to upgrade. Before you pick a free audiogram maker, look for these:
An audiogram creator that runs in your browser: no upload, no server queue and nothing stamped on the video.
Every podcast audiogram you export is clean, with no logo in the corner. Your first HD export is free with an account; after that, a pass or plan covers each new episode.
Bring the caption file from your editor or transcription tool and it is burned into the video, with the current word or line highlighted.
Square, vertical and wide presets arrange the show art, title and waveform for each shape, plus 4:5 for the Instagram feed.
Cut 15, 30 or 60 seconds around the best moment, or export the full episode up to 20 minutes.
The audio is decoded and rendered in your browser tab, so unreleased episodes and guest interviews never reach a server.
Wave, Spectrum Bars, Line, Mirror Bars, LCD Meter, Ridgelines and Oscilloscope, colored from your show art.
From episode file to posted clip in four steps, all on this page. A 30 second podcast audiogram usually renders faster than real time on a laptop.
Drop the episode (MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG) and your square show art on the audiogram maker above.
Choose 15, 30 or 60 seconds and drag the highlighted window over the quote that hooks. Play it back to check the cut.
Type the episode title and show name, then import an SRT or VTT file to burn the captions in.
Square, vertical or wide, then export the MP4. Post it with a link to the full episode.
A podcast audiogram has three jobs: be readable on mute, fit the feed and look like your show.
Import an SRT or VTT file and each caption appears on time, burned into the picture so it shows on every platform. Set the position (bottom, middle or top), the size and one or two lines, then highlight the current word or line as it is spoken. Safe margins keep the words off the edges and clear of TikTok and Reels buttons on 9:16. EzVisualizer does not transcribe audio, so bring the file: many podcast editors and transcription tools export an SRT in one click.
Add Captions1:1 (1080×1080) for feeds, 9:16 (1080×1920) for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 16:9 (1920×1080) for YouTube and the web, plus 4:5 (1080×1350) for the Instagram feed. Each preset arranges the show art, title, waveform and captions for that shape, so one podcast audiogram becomes three posts in a few minutes.
Pick a LayoutYour artwork sits large in the frame of each podcast audiogram and sets the colors. The episode title and show name are set in clean type, your logo can sit in any corner, and a progress bar with timestamps shows how much of the clip is left.
Add Your Show ArtSeven styles turn speech into motion, from a soft Wave to an LCD Meter or an Oscilloscope trace. A voice moves them less than a full song does, so raise the Intensity for a quiet speaker. For music, a full video works better in the YouTube visualizer.
Try a StylePick 15, 30 or 60 seconds and drag the window to the exact quote, or export the whole episode up to 20 minutes, 10 on a phone. The audiogram creator renders it on your own device and saves it straight to your downloads.

Anyone with spoken audio worth sharing. As an audio visualizer for podcast clips, it fits a weekly show or a one-off talk.
Cut three podcast audiogram posts from each episode: a square one for the feed, a vertical one for Reels and Shorts, a wide one for YouTube.
Send each guest a clip of their best answer, captioned and ready to post on their own accounts.
Turn a broadcast segment into a captioned clip for social, with the station’s logo in a corner.
Share a minute of a lesson as a teaser, with captions for students who watch on mute.
Post the strongest minute of a sermon or a talk during the week. For a plain waveform without show art, try the sound wave generator.
A story behind the song, read over a waveform. For the song itself, the TikTok visualizer and Spotify Canvas maker are built for music.
Captions, sizes, lengths and what free really means here.
It is free to try. Preview any clip with no sign-up, and your first HD export is free with an account. After that, each new episode needs a pass (Single HD $4.99 or Release Kit $9.99) or a plan from $7.99 a month, and a paid episode re-exports free for 30 days. No export ever carries a watermark. See pricing.
Not yet. EzVisualizer does not transcribe audio today, so you bring the captions as an SRT or VTT file. Many podcast editors, recording platforms and transcription tools export one; once you have it, import it and the captions are burned in on time.
Export an SRT or VTT for the episode from your editor or transcription tool, then import it in the audiogram maker. By default 0:00 in the file is the start of the episode, so pick the clip anywhere and the right lines appear; if the file was made for the clip alone, switch File timing to This clip. Then choose the position, size and whether to highlight the current word or line. Caption files can be up to 2 MB.
Square 1080×1080 for most feeds, vertical 1080×1920 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, and wide 1920×1080 for YouTube. Make one clip, then switch the layout and export again; each preset rearranges the show art, title and captions for its shape.
Long enough for one complete thought. Most social clips work at 30 to 60 seconds, so those are the presets, with 15 seconds for a quick teaser. For YouTube you can export the full episode up to 20 minutes.
Compare four things: watermark, monthly limits, captions and whether you must upload the episode. Headliner is the best-known audiogram maker; its Forever Free plan includes one unwatermarked audiogram a month with automatic captions (checked November 2026). EzVisualizer never adds a watermark, gives your first HD export free with an account, charges per episode or by plan after that, and keeps the audio on your device, but you bring the caption file.
YouTube needs a video, not an audio file. Here is how to upload a podcast to YouTube with this tool: choose the 16:9 layout, export the full episode (up to 20 minutes) or a highlight clip, then upload the MP4 in YouTube Studio. For a plain cover-and-audio video with no waveform, MP3 to MP4 is simpler.
Mostly. A podcast visualizer or podcast audio visualizer is the moving part, the waveform; an audiogram is the finished video around it, with show art, title and captions. This page makes the whole thing. For music videos with 13 styles, open the full audio visualizer.
No. A hearing-test audiogram is a chart of what frequencies a person can hear, made by an audiologist. This audiogram generator makes social videos from podcast audio. For a hearing test, see a licensed hearing professional.
No. The audiogram generator decodes, renders and encodes in your browser tab, and the finished MP4 saves straight to your device. Unreleased episodes and guest interviews stay with you.
The audiogram maker takes MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, FLAC and OGG, or anything else your browser can decode, up to 400 MB. Show art can be a JPG, PNG or WebP. Exporting from a video podcast? Save the audio track first, or try audio to video for other formats.
Yes. Add a logo in any corner of the podcast audiogram, let the colors come from your show art or pick your own accent, and choose a blurred, gradient or solid background. Your settings stay in the browser, so the next episode opens with the same look.
Yes. The audiogram creator runs in a phone browser, and a 30 second clip exports without trouble; keep the tab open until it finishes. Episodes up to 10 minutes work on phones, and longer ones go better on a laptop.
