Artists and bands
Release a sing-along version of your own song from the instrumental stem, so fans learn the words before the tour.
EzVisualizer is a free karaoke maker to try, right in your browser. Add an instrumental backing track and the lyrics, tap along to time every word, and export a karaoke video where each word fills with color as it is sung, with count-in dots and the next line waiting on the other row. Only have the full song? Remove the vocals with AI. Preview with no sign-up, get your first HD export free with an account, and download with no watermark; nothing is uploaded unless you use AI vocal removal.
A karaoke video is a song without its lead vocal, with the lyrics on screen timed so each word lights up the moment you should sing it. The small details make it singable: a count-in before a line that follows a gap, the next line shown in advance, and a title card so the room knows what is coming. A karaoke maker builds all of that from two things you bring, an instrumental of the song and its words, and hands back a video that plays from a laptop, a TV or a phone.
Make a Karaoke VideoA karaoke track lives or dies on timing. These are the usual reasons a sing-along falls apart, and each one is handled here:
Everything a sing-along needs, timed by you and rendered on your own device.
Each word fills with color as it should be sung, so a long note visibly holds. Prefer something simpler? Wipe the whole line instead.
After an intro or an instrumental break, dots count down to the next line so singers come in on the beat.
The coming line waits, dimmed, on the second row while the first is sung, so nobody is caught reading cold.
Load the original with vocals to tap along to. Only the backing track goes into the karaoke video.
Open with the song title and the artist, the way a karaoke screen does, before the first count-in.
A karaoke video maker, free to try and private: no sign-up to preview, no watermark on downloads. Your first HD export is free with an account, and your audio and lyrics stay in your browser tab. The one exception is a song you send to AI vocal removal: it goes to our AI processor and is deleted after 30 days.
Four steps from an instrumental and a lyric sheet to a karaoke video you can sing to.
Drop the instrumental (MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG) on the tool above. Only have the full song? Drop it and choose Remove vocals with AI. Either way, the original with vocals is your guide: you hear it while syncing, and it stays out of the export.
One screen line per row, short enough to read at a glance. Already have an LRC, SRT or VTT file? Import it and the timing comes with it.
Play the guide and tap Space as each word starts, or once per line for a line wipe. Slow down to 0.75× or 0.5× for fast verses; Backspace undoes a tap.
Pick the singer’s color, count-in dots and a title card, then export an MP4: 16:9 for a TV, 9:16 for a phone.
The details that make a song easy to sing along to, built into the export.
In word mode, color sweeps through each word while it is sung, so singers see exactly where they are and how long to hold. Line mode lights the line from left to right across its length, and needs only one tap per line. The singer’s color comes from your cover, or pick one that suits the room.
Choose a HighlightBefore a line that follows a gap, dots appear and go out one by one in time, so the singer comes in on the beat. The next line waits dimmed on the other row, the two rows taking turns the way karaoke screens do, and a title card opens the song with its name and artist.
See the Count-InTapping along to an instrumental is hard, because the melody you would follow is gone. Load the original with vocals as a guide: you hear it only while you tap, and every other playback, like the export, uses the backing track alone. So the preview always sounds the way singers will hear it.
Add a Guide TrackBring a karaoke MP3 or WAV: an official instrumental, a backing track you bought, or your band’s mix with the lead muted. Only have the full song? Sign in, drop it and choose Remove vocals with AI. For 25 credits our AI processor splits it in a minute or two into an instrumental, loaded straight in as your karaoke track, and a vocal stem to download. Songs up to 20 MB, stems kept 30 days, and the same song again in that time is free. One click switches back to the original.
Remove Vocals With AIEvery word sits on a waveform timeline: drag it, snap it to the beat, and save the timing as LRC, SRT or VTT for later. Export 16:9 for a TV, in 1080p or 4K where your browser can encode it, 9:16 for a phone, or 1:1 for a feed. For a plain lyric version with no highlight, the lyric video maker uses the same timing tools.
Pick a FrameAn original demo song with a word highlight, count-in dots before the first line and the next line dimmed on the second row, at 16:9.
What you are looking at
The title card holds while the intro plays, three dots count the singer in, and each word fills as it is sung while the next line waits on the other row. The audio is the instrumental alone; the guide vocal used for syncing is not in the file. Add your own backing track to the karaoke maker above and every control works the same way.

You need the song without its lead vocal. The cleanest source is an official instrumental or a licensed backing track; if you recorded the song, mute the lead in your mix and export it. Add that track to the karaoke maker on this page with the lyrics, tap to sync and export. Most guides on how to make a song a karaoke version start with vocal removal, and you can do that here too: drop the full song and choose Remove vocals with AI.
Remove the vocals with AI right on this page. Sign in, drop the full song (up to 20 MB, so use an MP3 for a long one) and confirm: for 25 credits our AI processor splits it into an instrumental, which loads as your backing track, and a vocal stem you can download. That is how to create a karaoke version of a song with no instrumental. A failed split refunds its credits, and the same song again within 30 days is free. Results depend on the mix and a faint ghost of the vocal can remain, so listen before you export, and use it only on songs you have the right to use.
Here is how to make a karaoke video with lyrics, free, on this page: add the instrumental, paste the words, tap Space as each word starts, choose the highlight and count-in, then export the MP4; your first HD export is free with an account. Nothing is installed, and nothing is uploaded unless you use AI vocal removal. Learning how to create a karaoke video with lyrics takes one play-through of the song.
They are when you have permission. A karaoke video copies a song’s music and lyrics, which usually needs a sync license from the publisher, and any recording you use, which needs the owner’s permission too. Playing karaoke in a bar or a venue is licensed separately. Your own songs, or tracks licensed for karaoke, are the safe ground. This is general information, not legal advice.
For the vocals, yes. Searches for karaoke AI usually mean vocal removal, and that is what the AI does here: it turns a full song into an instrumental and a vocal stem for 25 credits. The timing stays yours: you tap it, which keeps every word exactly right. Most karaoke video AI tools split the vocal and guess the words in one pass; if you want a free AI karaoke maker or an AI karaoke creator for that, check the result line by line.
It is free to try: a free online karaoke maker to preview with no sign-up, and no watermark on downloads. Use it as a karaoke maker online, free in any current browser, and create karaoke online, free, for your first song: your first HD export is free with an account. After that, each new song needs a pass from $4.99 or a plan from $7.99 a month. See pricing.
Yes. Any karaoke MP3, or an instrumental in WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG, works as the backing track. Export the whole song from an MP3 and its original audio goes into the video untouched. Going from MP3 to karaoke video takes one tap-through and an export.
No, but it helps. Without it you tap along to the instrumental, which is fine if you know the song well. With it, you hear exactly where each word falls while you sync. When you remove the vocals with AI, the original becomes your guide by itself. The guide is never in the export.
One song at a time. How to make a karaoke track here: add its instrumental and lyrics, sync, export, then start the next. Keep the same highlight color and font, and every new karaoke track in the set matches. Knowing how to create a karaoke track this way takes minutes per song once you know the words.
Yes, with AI, for 25 credits a song: drop any song up to 20 MB, sign in and confirm, and you get the instrumental for your karaoke track plus the vocal stem. How clean the split is depends on the mix, so a faint ghost of the vocal can remain. The rest of this karaoke track maker (timing, highlight, count-in and video) works the same with any backing track.
Yes. Export 16:9 in 1080p, or 4K where your browser can encode it, then play the MP4 from a USB stick, a laptop over HDMI or any media player app on the TV.
Yes. Open the page in Safari or Chrome, add both files from your phone and tap the on-screen button in place of the Space bar. Phones take songs up to 10 minutes; a laptop is quicker for long songs and 4K.
No. The backing track plays as it is. Change the key or tempo in an audio editor first, then add the new file here and sync to it.
Only if you use AI vocal removal. The backing track, the guide vocal and your lyrics are processed in your browser tab and never reach our servers. A song you send to AI vocal removal goes to our AI processor, and the upload and its stems are deleted after 30 days. Close the tab and only your downloads remain.
Tag the backing track, design a cover and share a clip of the same song.
