A release-day video in one evening: a template, your song, then a 9:16 cut from the TikTok visualizer.
Two kinds of music video templates on one page. Pick one of 24 ready-made visualizer looks for lo-fi, EDM, hip-hop, acoustic, podcasts, worship, Spotify Canvas, TikTok and Reels or YouTube, and it applies in the studio above with your song, styled and sized. Planning a filmed shoot instead? Use the free music video concept template under the studio: one row per song section, with columns for scenes, locations, shots and props, saved in your browser and ready as a PDF, a CSV or a table for Google Docs. Previews are free with no sign-up, a new account includes one HD download, and no download carries a watermark.
The phrase means two different things, and this page covers both. A visual template is a ready-made look: you drop in your song and cover, and the video moves with the music in a style someone already designed. A planning template is a document for a filmed video: a treatment that pitches the idea, a shot list, a storyboard, or a sheet that maps the song section by section. Artists usually need one or the other, so here you get a gallery of visualizer looks and a music video concept template you can print. The usual options have catches:
All 24 music video templates from the studio, grouped by use: lo-fi, EDM, hip-hop, acoustic, podcast, worship, Spotify Canvas, TikTok and Reels, and YouTube. Each one sets a style, a color palette or dark theme, a background, a text layout and a frame, plus motion such as bass shake or beat bursts. Hover or tab to a card to play it, then press Use to apply it with your song.

Music video templates that render your own song in your browser, plus a planning sheet for the shoots you film.
Preview any template with your own song, no sign-up. A new account includes one HD download, then $4.99 per song or a plan.
The template sets the look; your cover sits in the frame and can lend its colors, and the thumbnails switch to your cover and title once your song is in.
Apply a template and every setting stays open: style, colors, background, text, motion, frame and length.
Canvas loops in 9:16, TikTok and Reels at 1080×1920, YouTube at 1920×1080 or in 4K, and GIF loops for anywhere else.
Your song renders in this browser tab. No After Effects, no plugins and no render queue.
Plan a filmed video section by section, keep it in this browser, then save a PDF or a CSV or paste it into Google Docs or Sheets.
From one of the music video templates to your own MP4 in four steps, in the studio at the top of this page.
Open the Templates tab, filter by genre or platform, hover to preview, and click the look you like.
Add an MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG file and your cover. The template plays with your audio right away.
Swap the colors, background, text layout or style, type the title and artist, and add your logo.
Choose the full song or a 15, 30 or 60 second clip at 30 or 60 fps and download the MP4, or switch to a GIF loop. No watermark either way.
A template is a saved combination of the studio's own settings, so nothing is locked and nothing is a stock clip.
Each template combines one of the 13 styles with a color palette or a dark theme, a background (blurred cover, gradient or a solid color), a text layout, a frame and motion options such as bass shake, beat bursts or a moving blur. Apply it and all of that lands in the studio at once; change one setting and the rest stays. Prefer to build the look yourself? Start from a single style, such as the circle audio visualizer.
Try a TemplateGenre music video templates start from what the music asks for. Lo-fi templates spin a dusty record, roll a late-night wave or float a soft orb; EDM templates hit the drop with a shaking circle, a neon mirror or a festival halo in dark neon themes; hip-hop templates bring a car stereo display, gold bars or a splatter-pressed record; acoustic and worship templates stay calm, with a soft halo, a single line or a slow dawn glow. Want the classic electronic-label look on its own? The NCS visualizer builds it around your cover.
Pick a GenrePlatform templates open in the right frame for where the video goes. The Spotify Canvas templates make a silent 9:16 loop of 3 to 8 seconds, 6 by default; check it against the spec in the Spotify Canvas maker. TikTok and Reels templates open on a 9:16 clip of 15 or 30 seconds at the loudest part. YouTube templates keep the full song in 16:9, up to 20 minutes, or in 4K for songs up to 5 minutes with a Release Kit, Creator or Pro.
Pick a PlatformStart from a template, swap in your cover and colors, type your title and add your logo. The studio keeps your settings in this browser, and New song, same look carries them to the next track, so one template becomes the look of a whole album. Want the words on screen too? The lyric video maker syncs them to the vocal.
Make It YoursA treatment is the pitch for a music video, written before anything is filmed. It tells the artist, the label and the crew what the video is about and how it will look, usually in a few pages with pictures. Directors send one to win a job; independent artists write one to keep a small shoot on track. Once the treatment is approved, the planning sheet below, a music video concept template, turns it into scenes, locations and shots. A good treatment covers:
Up to 40 rows of ten section types, from intro, verse and chorus to hook, drop, break and instrumental, with columns for time, lyric cue, scene and story, location, shots and camera, props and wardrobe, and notes. The header holds the song, artist, BPM, length, the concept and your references. Fill it in under the studio, or load your song and press Fill in for its BPM, length and suggested sections, then save a PDF or a CSV or copy it as a table for Google Docs and Sheets.

Song map
0:00 to 3:32
| Section | Time | Lyric cue | Scene / story | Location | Shots / camera | Props / wardrobe | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Intro | 0:00 | (synth pad, no vocals) | Rain on the windshield, wipers moving in time with the kick | Parked car, downtown side street | Macro on raindrops, slow push-in on the dashboard | Dashboard clock at 11:58, leather jacket | First wiper sweep lands on the first kick |
| Verse | 0:16 | City's asleep but I'm wide awake | The driver checks the time and pulls out | Empty avenue, wet asphalt | Side tracking shot from a second car, 35 mm | Vintage hatchback, amber car radio display | Practical light only: street lamps and the dash |
| Pre-chorus | 0:48 | Every light turns red when I'm running late | Red lights, one after another; the tension builds | Three intersections, same framing | Locked-off wide, cut on every bar | Traffic lights, phone at 1% battery | Cuts get faster: 2 bars, 1 bar, half a bar |
| Chorus | 1:04 | Go, go, go, neon rain | The lights flip green and the car takes off | Tunnel lined with LED strips | Gimbal through the sunroof, speed ramp on the drop | Haze machine at the tunnel exit | The brightest colors of the whole video |
| Bridge | 2:24 | If I miss it, I'll walk you home | The train pulls away; she is still on the platform | Elevated train station | Static wide, rack focus to her face | Umbrella, station clock | Pull the color down, almost black and white |
| Outro | 3:08 | (vocals fade into rain) | They walk off together under one umbrella | Station stairs down to the street | Crane up and away, hold on the wet street | The same umbrella | End on the song's title card |

How to use the music video concept template, from the first idea to the shoot day.
Write the concept in one line and list your references. Load your song and press Fill in for its BPM and length, or get the tempo from the BPM finder.
Check each suggested section against the track, note where it starts and the lyric that cues it, so every scene lands on the music.
Give every section a scene, a location, the shots and the props. Add rows, or drag them into order; Alt with the arrow keys moves one too.
Number each shot, sketch one frame per shot, and the music video storyboard is ready. Bring the PDF to the shoot.

Music video templates for artists who need a video tonight, and for teams planning one for next month.
A release-day video in one evening: a template, your song, then a 9:16 cut from the TikTok visualizer.
Pick one template for every upload so the channel looks consistent. New song, same look keeps it from track to track.
Pitch with a treatment, plan the shoot on the sheet, and offer a visualizer for the songs you will not film.
Calm worship templates for the livestream and the lobby screen. For lyrics on screen, make a worship lyric video.
Podcast templates turn an episode into a 60 second clip with the show art and title, square or vertical.
Use the sheet as a music video storyboard exercise: one song, one treatment, one shot list.
Templates, treatments, storyboards and prices, answered plainly.
Either ready-made looks you drop your song into, or documents for planning a filmed video. This page has both: 24 visualizer templates that apply in the studio with your song, and a planning sheet for shoots. For one look from scratch, start with our audio visualizer.
A header with the song, artist, BPM, length, the concept in one line and references, then one row per section: intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge, outro and, where the song has them, hook, drop, break or instrumental. Give each row a time, a lyric cue, the scene, the location, the shots, the props and notes. The sheet on this page is laid out exactly that way.
A treatment pitches the idea in words and pictures. A shot list names every shot you need, with the camera and the location. A storyboard draws those shots in order, one frame each. Most shoots go in that order: treatment, planning sheet, shot list, storyboard.
Fill in the planning sheet first, so every section has a scene and its shots. Number the shots, then sketch one frame per shot in order, with arrows for camera moves. Stick figures are fine; the music video storyboard is for the crew, not for an exhibition.
Yes. The sheet needs no account and no payment. It is saved in this browser only, so to share it or keep a copy, save the PDF or the CSV, or copy it as a table. Only video and GIF downloads are paid.
Yes. Press Copy as table and paste into a Google Doc, a Sheet or Word; the rows and columns stay in place. The CSV opens in Sheets and Excel too.
It can suggest them. Load your song and press Fill in: the sheet takes the BPM and length and suggests sections with start times from the song’s energy, and asks before it replaces rows you have written. Treat the times as a starting point and check them against the track.
Free to try: preview any template with your own song, no sign-up. A new account includes one HD download; after that each new song needs a Single HD pass ($4.99), a Release Kit ($9.99, every format and 4K) or a plan from $7.99 a month. See pricing.
Yes, in every frame except Spotify Canvas. Switch the format to GIF loop: 2 to 10 seconds, 480 or 720 pixels wide, 15 or 24 fps, no sound. A GIF counts as a download like an MP4, and no download carries a watermark or a logo of ours.
Yes. A template only sets the studio's normal controls, so you can change the style, colors, background, text, frame or length afterward, and nothing is locked.
Yes, two. The Spotify Canvas templates open a silent 9:16 loop of 3 to 8 seconds, 6 by default, the format Spotify asks for. Upload it in Spotify for Artists. Canvas does not play sound, so it is a loop, not a music video.
No. Everything renders in your browser on a laptop, a desktop or a phone, and the MP4 saves to your device. No plugins, no project files.
24, across nine uses: lo-fi, EDM, hip-hop, acoustic, podcast, worship, Spotify Canvas, TikTok and Reels, and YouTube. In the studio, filter by use, hover or tab to a card to preview it, and move between cards with the arrow keys.
Yes, for music you own or have the rights to. EzVisualizer claims no rights over your export, and the visuals are your cover and the engine's shapes.
The studio remembers your last look in this browser, and New song, same look reuses it for the next track. That is the quickest way to keep one look for a release.
