Musicians with a WAV master
Take the master itself from audio to video for YouTube, with the cover in the frame and a style that matches the genre.
EzVisualizer turns audio to video right in your browser, free to try. Drop a WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG or MP3 file, add a picture, and export an MP4 with a visualizer that moves to the sound. Preview with no sign-up, get your first HD export free with an account, and download with no watermark; the audio never leaves your device.
Most of the places people listen now are video players. YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook only take video, and a chat app shows a video as a picture you can tap, while an audio file arrives as an attachment. So a mix, a podcast or a voice recording has to change from audio to video before it can go up. That takes a picture track: your cover art plus a style that follows the sound, so there is something to look at for the whole length. EzVisualizer builds both in your browser and writes one MP4 with the picture and the sound together. Any format your browser can decode works.
Convert Audio NowNo upload queue and no server render. The audio is decoded, drawn and encoded on your own device.
WAV, FLAC, M4A/AAC, OGG and MP3, plus anything else your browser plays. One tool for every file in your folder.
The audio is split into 48 frequency bands with beat detection, so bass, voice and cymbals each move a different part of the picture.
WAV and FLAC become AAC at up to 256 kbps, made once from your lossless source. An MP3 exported as a whole song keeps its original audio, copied without a second encode.
Unreleased masters, interviews and voice notes never leave the browser tab. Nothing is stored on our side.
Full songs up to 20 minutes on a computer and 10 on a phone, with nothing stamped on the picture. Your first HD export is free with an account.
16:9 up to 4K (with a Release Kit, Creator or Pro), 9:16 for vertical video, 1:1 and 4:5 for the feed, at 30 or 60 fps.
The same three steps take a song, an episode or a voice memo from audio to video. The Wave style is set up when the page opens.
Drag a WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG or MP3 onto the converter at the top of this page, or click to choose one. Then add a JPG, PNG or WebP picture, or use a built-in cover.
Keep the Wave or try any of the 13 looks, from a single line to spectrum bars or a spinning record. Choose 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5, and set the colors, title and artist.
Pick 1080p or 4K and 30 or 60 fps, then export the full track or a 15, 30 or 60 second clip. The video renders on your device and lands in your downloads.
More than a picture glued to a soundtrack: in this audio to video converter, the frame reacts to what you hear.
Wave, Line, Bars, Mirror Bars, Circle, Halo, Ridgelines, Orb, Particles, Vinyl, Oscilloscope and LCD Meter all react to the audio; Still holds your cover with a slow zoom. Want a plain waveform look for spoken audio? The sound wave generator narrows the list to the wave styles.
Browse the StylesMP4 files carry compressed audio, so a WAV or FLAC has to become AAC. EzVisualizer encodes it once, at up to 256 kbps depending on your browser, straight from your lossless source. That is why the best way to convert music to MP4 format is from the master, not from an MP3 copy. If an MP3 is all you have, export the whole song and its audio goes in untouched; the MP3 to MP4 page explains how.
Use My MasterA calm style such as Line or Wave suits speech: a lecture, a sermon, an audiobook sample or a poem read aloud. Type the episode or speaker name as the title. For short podcast promos cut around one strong minute, the audiogram generator starts in a square frame.
Try a Calm StyleExport everything up to 20 minutes, or drag a 15, 30 or 60 second window over the part that matters and export only that. Vertical clips for Reels and Shorts start faster in the TikTok visualizer.
Pick a RangeThe demo song in the Wave style at 16:9. This is the engine drawing live, the same frames it writes into the MP4.
What you are looking at
Saved as afterglow-wave-16x9.mp4: 1920×1080 at 30 fps, H.264 video with the sound underneath. The wave rises with the bass and the cover sits in the middle. Swap in your own file and picture and the same settings carry over. For the full style gallery, see the audio visualizer home page.
Every format works. These notes help you pick the best copy when you have more than one.
The best source. A WAV bounce or master gives the AAC encoder full-quality audio to work from, so the MP4 sounds as close to the master as an MP4 can.
Just as good as WAV, in a smaller file. FLAC is lossless, so the AAC track is made from the full-quality sound.
Voice memos and many downloads are M4A, which already holds AAC. It converts fine; keep a lossless copy for releases if you have one.
Compressed formats work too. A whole MP3 song is copied as is; OGG becomes AAC, the audio format MP4 players expect.

Musicians, speakers and anyone else whose work is sound but whose audience is on video platforms.
Take the master itself from audio to video for YouTube, with the cover in the frame and a style that matches the genre.
Put the full episode on a video channel with the show art and episode title on screen, made from the same file you publish.
Share a demo reel or an audiobook sample as a link that plays on any phone, instead of an attachment someone has to download.
Turn the Sunday recording into a video for the stream archive, with a calm style that suits the room. Songs with words on screen belong in a lyric video maker.
The M4A from a phone recorder converts directly. Send co-writers a private video link of the idea the same day.
Show off a soundscape or a sample pack demo with the Ridgelines or Oscilloscope style, which draw the sound itself.
Formats, quality, length and privacy, answered plainly.
Drop the audio file on the converter at the top of this page, add a picture, pick a style and a frame, then click Convert to MP4. EzVisualizer builds the MP4 in your browser and saves it to your downloads. There is nothing to install, and the preview needs no account; sign up to download, and your first HD export is free.
The same way: any audio file your browser can play goes in, and an MP4 with H.264 video comes out. To convert an audio file to MP4 without moving visuals, choose the Still style, which holds your cover with a slow zoom.
Yes. WAV is the best place to start. The WAV is decoded in your browser and encoded once as AAC at up to 256 kbps inside the MP4, so the video sounds as close to your master as the format allows. Files up to 400 MB are accepted, which covers a 20 minute WAV at CD quality.
Yes, both. M4A files from a phone or a download convert directly. FLAC is lossless like WAV and becomes AAC at up to 256 kbps. OGG works too and becomes AAC, the audio format MP4 players expect.
It is free to try: preview audio to video free, with every style and frame and no sign-up. Your first HD export is free with an account; after that, each new song needs a pass from $4.99 or a plan from $7.99 a month, and a song you paid for re-exports free for 30 days. Downloads never carry a watermark. See pricing.
MP4 files hold compressed audio, so lossless WAV and FLAC become AAC at up to 256 kbps (192 kbps in some browsers), which is hard to tell from the source on most speakers. A whole MP3 song is copied without another encode. Video sites re-encode audio on upload anyway, so feed them the best file you have.
Yes. Pick 16:9 for 1920×1080, or 4K where your browser supports it, export the full song and upload the MP4 in YouTube Studio. The YouTube visualizer opens with bars and a widescreen frame already set.
Yes. The converter opens in the browser on iPhone and Android, so it works as a music to MP4 converter with nothing to install. Phones take files up to 10 minutes and are quickest with short clips; long tracks and 4K go faster on a computer.
Up to 20 minutes per export on a computer and 10 on a phone. For a longer recording, such as a two hour set, split it into parts and export each one.
You need something on screen, but it does not have to be your own art. Use one of the four built-in covers, or a style such as Mirror Bars, Line, Ridgelines or Oscilloscope, which draws the sound across the frame instead of showing a cover.
For the picture, MP4 with H.264 video, which is what you get here. For the sound, start from WAV or FLAC when you have it, since the AAC track is then made in one pass from full-quality audio.
No. Decoding, analysis, drawing and encoding all run inside your browser tab. The file never reaches our servers, which matters for unreleased music and private recordings.
The export uses the video encoder in your browser. Where it can write MP4 you get MP4; where it cannot, the export falls back to WebM instead of failing. For an MP4, use a current version of Chrome, Edge or Safari.
Yes, for audio you own or have the rights to. EzVisualizer adds no watermark and claims nothing in your exports, so they can go on monetized channels and in ads.
Finish the release: cover, tags, a Canvas loop and lyrics.
